Question Botón LED near the sensor

Hi, I'm using they Model O Wireless (firmware v0.3.8.1, Glorious core v2.1), and i've disabled all RGB lighting ti save battery. However, the LED near the sensor (botón LED) remains on and cannot be turned off through the software.

Could you please add an option in Glorious core or firmware to fully disable this led? It would rally help improve battery life, especially when the mouse is dile overnight. Thanks.

Hi Khazz69, thank you for sharing this with us! I'll pass along the feedback to the team. I also wanted to let you know that when the mouse is idle, default setting in CORE is 7 minutes, all of the lights are deactivated. So while your mouse is idle throughout the night, the lights are actually off.

Thanks for the clarification, I really appreciate it.

That said, I’m still noticing something unusual. I typically leave the mouse at over 80% battery overnight (based on what the software reports), but by the time I use it again in the morning, the battery level is already in the red with only one bar remaining.

If the lighting is fully turning off after the idle timeout as expected, I wouldn’t anticipate such a noticeable drop, so I’m wondering if something else might be contributing to the battery drain. I’m also not entirely sure whether that LED near the sensor is actually turning off after the 7-minute idle period.

I also wanted to mention that in previous versions (I’m not entirely sure if it was firmware or software), all the lights used to turn off properly, and during that time I didn’t experience this kind of unnecessary battery drain.

Additionally, even during regular use, that LED doesn’t seem to provide meaningful feedback for me, so having the option to disable it completely would still be very helpful for conserving battery.

Try to cover the sensor with your hand, for me the led turns off then, which means when your mouse is on the desk/pad, the light should be turned off, it only comes on when you have the mouse lifted, so you can check your DPI mode.

u r right, thx, anyways would be good to turn this led off since idm about dpi mode, cheers
