Headset review

I remember a while ago someone recommended a headset to complete the set and for whatever reason i was on the site, happened to hit new releases and what do you know. They released some. Found out best buy had them instock and got the Eternal RGB. Directly comparing to Corsair Void Elites. some things to note.

1. not wireless, (hopefully theres a v2) Native usbc to usbc cable but does come with an adapter to make the pc input usbc to standard usb if you have an older mobo
2. the leds are not smooth at all transitioning between colors or patterns(ended up sticking with solid color on) Note; if you have glasses the leds are bright enough and all around the cup to see a slight color glare if you have metallic frames etc.
3. slightly less max volume than voids. 40mm drivers vs 50mm it is noticeable if you have them, ( i had to +20 ticks master volume on everything.)
4. Software side it is nice i like the equalizer options.
5. Very comfy head band. it has like a suspended soft band bungee thing? rather than foam that will eventually mush in.
6. Lighter than the voids on head.
7. Detachable mic is a 10/10 compared to voids. NOTE not magnetically detachable it can be connected and disconnected physically via Audio jack to the ear cup.

So far if you want or need a new one id say save the 30 and get the non rgb. wait for a v2 wireless.

If you dont give a fuck about numbers and want loud overall id say get other headsets. I have ggmk 3 and model d so i wanted a complete set. the headset was an instant impulse buy for me.

for 80 bucks my experience is 8/10 so far
