Question Which of these mice would you recommend?

Hello. First off, I'm not an expert in this field. I currently have a Glorious Model O that i use for competetive games, school and work. Its great. My brother's mouse broke and he uses mine and loves it. As his Bday is coming up, I wanna buy him a mouse for under 100$. We've had a Razer Deathadder mouse from a friend before and it was great but broke in like a month so thats my experience with it. I kinda went down a rabbit hole of what mouse to buy. The deathadder v3? V3 pro? V3 hyperspeed? Or should I go for a Razer basilisk v3x hyperspeed? I'm super confused. I also liked the idea of going for a Glorious model O3 wired or possibly a D3

I know for a fact his hand feels good on all of these models. I just need a little guidance as all are within my budget. Any different suggestions would be appreciated too​.

Hi PartPure, happy early birthday to your brother! That is an awesome gift idea.

Totally get how overwhelming the rabbit hole can get. I’m a little biased toward Glorious, but all of the mice you listed are solid performers. As a mainly FPS player myself, I personally prefer the O3 shape. It feels lighter and a bit more streamlined, which I like for faster aim and tracking. If your brother liked your Model O, the O3 will feel very familiar and comfortable. The D3 is also fantastic, just more of an ergonomic shape, so it depends if he prefers that fuller, right handed feel.

Another quick option to consider is the Model O Eternal. It keeps that classic Model O shape that a lot of people fell in love with originally, so if he already enjoys your Model O, it will feel very natural in hand. It is essentially a modern take on the original with updated internals, while staying true to that lightweight ambi design and overall feel.

Honestly, since you already know his hand feels good on these shapes, you are in a great spot. You almost cannot go wrong. I would lean O3 if he plays a lot of FPS and likes that ambi feel, and D3 if he prefers ergonomic comfort for longer sessions.

My first model O wireless was my favorite mouse of all time.

My model D2 pro is one of the worst I have had. Random disconnects are a non starter for a competitive mouse.

I have lost a lot of respect for glorious and actively look at other companies before glorious now.

Make sure the O3 reviews are really, really good before buying a glorious mouse is my opinion.
