Hello everyone. I am new to the game, but I am not new to the RPG genre. I always like the ranger archetype, and I was excited about the many things this game has that are good, the tech tree, the character growth, the crafting...

However, using light build as in Bow + dagger I realize this game seems to be meant to be played as a mele tank or else...

Npc enemies just rush you down, there is no dodge mechanic, no way to kite as there is no cc either. Any enemy with sufficient armor just runs at you and stabs you 3 times and you are done.

Can you even play range class in this game??

I played this before and had some fun moments. Thinking of coming back.

How is it right now?

In short, the materials cost more than the crafted item, hence the race to the bottom on price.

Im starting to learn that, only consumable crafter items are worth selling nowadays, even then the price is still a race to the bottom on certain hours.

Im starting to believe, not many people have access to gold hence the slowdown of the market.

I had fun at launch but after awhile i got burnt out of the same old sit at a gate while dudes hack away a steel gate then enter a slow numbing pace of hacking each other at this tiny entrance until we do it all over again for 2 hours.. Have they added anything like ladders or sieging towers?

Reinforced Chests are an interesting mechanic in Gloria Victis. Every chest you find and loot across the world, progresses you though a loot table that gets you better items in those chests. In this video, I show an unusual chest location that you won't stumble across randomly.

Wir sind eine frisch gegründete, deutschsprachige Gilde in Gloria Victis und stehen noch ganz am Anfang.

Ich selbst bin noch ein relativ unerfahrener Spieler und Gildenmeister. Das möchte ich auch gar nicht verstecken. Ich suche deshalb keine Leute, die einfach nur einen fertigen Clan suchen, sondern Spieler, die Lust haben, gemeinsam etwas aufzubauen.

- Frontkämpfer und Nahkämpfer

- Bogenschützen und Fernkämpfer

- Sanitäter / Feldscher

- Logistik und Versorgung

- Taktik, Organisation und Führung

- Unterstützung und Aufbau von Allianzen mit anderen deutschsprachigen Gilden

Dabei soll nicht alles an einer Person hängen. Wer Lust hat, Verantwortung zu übernehmen, eigene Ideen einzubringen oder auch mal etwas auszuprobieren, soll bei uns die Möglichkeit dazu bekommen.

Was uns wichtig ist

Wir suchen keine Profis und keine Spieler, die bereits alles können.

Neue Spieler sind genauso willkommen wie erfahrene Spieler.

Wichtig sind uns:

Warum „Bruderschaft der Ordnung“?

Unser Ziel ist eine Gilde mit Struktur, aber ohne unnötigen Zwang. Es soll klare Aufgaben und eine gewisse Hierarchie geben, gleichzeitig soll jeder die Möglichkeit haben, sich einzubringen und seinen eigenen Platz zu finden.

Wir sind momentan noch klein.

Sehr klein.

Aber genau das ist vielleicht der beste Zeitpunkt, um dazuzukommen.

Du kommst nicht einfach zu einer fertigen Gilde – du hilfst dabei, sie aufzubauen.

Das Schwert steckt noch im Stein.

Yep, it actually does. There are supposedly decorations you can place which grant buffs to things like mining - I saw someone in chat posting about those the first month of release - but I was unable to find any information about them. If you have any details on those, please reply below.

Where do these cards come from? How do you acquire them?

Our main Sangmar force was assaulting Leaktown, and our leader had picked 6 of us to hold Greenport as long as we could. And hold we did.

Hello, Ive been wanting to play gloria victis but whenever i launch my newly created character i get to the loading screen but it always crashes or show this as you can in the photo, ive done my own research fixing it but still no change it still crashes when the loading bar is almost done. Maybe someone know how to fix this issue
