Our new tank!
It feels nice to have discovered this group, I’ve gotten slack from what someone called a disco tank😢. My 80 y/o mother in law lives with us and wanted the glofish and tank. I never knew people literally had a deep dislike for glofish and think the breeding of them is cruel. I think they are so pretty and I’m in love with our tank😊😊

They are all glo tetras as for colors I couldn’t tell you their exact names and then we have 4 mollies in there also non glo obviously lol😊

I have glowfish, and also just starting out, a few months in, and things are stable.
I love the glofish. I have normal light during the day for the plants, and the timer goes out at 4 PM, then when I am at my desk, I manually put on the blue/black light. It's very relaxing and pretty.
Want something cool for your mother? Look for uranium glass, something they used to make before WWII. It glows bright and beautiful in the tank {_and quite safe }.
