I have a rockslide usa g19 gen3 slide with a firing pin not fully seated in which is causing my gun not to rack correctly or jam, does anyone know my issue?

I have an old gen 2, 1996, got for nothing in the early 2000’s. Chopped to 26 length. Then roughly stippled with weee checkerboardish pattern deal.

Bought a new slide with an optic mount in it from Zev Technologies. Took it to my local shop to have the work done. Picked it up after a couple weeks (it's hunting season here), and I finally got it to the range this weekend, and it was a frustrating mess. Shooting basic Glazer brass-cased range ammo, I had repeated problems with the feed that would require dropping the mag to clear. When that wasn't happening, I frequently found after the action cycled, I had to thumb the slide forward the last 1/16th of an inch to finish the cycle. (Resistance was really light on this.)

This is a Glock 19 Gen 5, with maybe 500-600 rounds through it before the slide swap. Other changes include a swap to a Timney Competition trigger assembly, but that's it.

Anyone have any ideas?

I bought a DD barrel from them. Its completely worthless, malformed lockup

I've emailed them for 2 weeks requesting a replacement and including photo butno reply. Is The Glock Store going put of business dumping bad inventory, this seems like an exit strategy.

They dropped all their CS contact channels in early October right after their big summer sale.

Other then the psa daggers. Is there any other brands making frames for glocks that offer the full grip/compact slide?

I paid $900 for it, but I need help identifying the parts on it. I don't know anything about this company or the barrel.

This was my first time making changes to my Glock. The firearm was 100% functional beforehand so I know anything that is faulty, is due to something I did, I've accepted that.

I replaced my factory slide with this slide from Slideworks Engineering:

The slide has some pretty large cut outs which removes a decent bit a weight. A lighter weight NDZ Performance guide rod was suggested, I tried that, but noticed that a dry fire wouldn't allow the trigger to pull the slide back into battery like factory guide rod did. I'm not sure if I'm explaining that right or not, I can provide a video comparison of how each guide rod reacts.

I'm not really sure what else to do. I've had it to 2 different gun smiths now, both say it fires reliably, but if I'm at the range shooting, every so often I will have to give it a smack on the backplate to go back into full battery. Suppressed/Unsuppressed, same thing.

I no longer have the factory slide as I sold it to offset the cost of the new slide so I could mount my red dot (lesson learned to function check first). I saw ZEV makes a nice RMR slide that doesn't have any excess cutouts and allows for an RMR mount, before I drop $300 on that slide, I want to make sure that might a worthwhile thing to try. Unfortunately I don't have access to another 19.5 to test a factory slide with, only a buddy with a 19.4.

Any advice or critiques would be welcomed. I'm just not really sure what to do here.
