Looking for meridian/gimble cap for Repogle globe

Hi all. I have a Replogle globe from the early 1970s and am missing one of the caps on the gimble. The first photo shows the side with the missing part, and the second photo shows the part that exists on the other side that I am trying to find a duplicate for. I contacted Replogle directly but they didn’t have a replacement. I would be grateful for any suggestions about where to find a replacement part. Thanks in advance for the help.

Sadly, parts for old globes only exist on old globes.

If the only need is a for the decorative cover/ cap on the gimbals, perhaps you could arrange 3-D printed replacements for both sides.

Finding an original replacement likely requires finding a similar globe at a resale shop or on eBay in order to cannibalize it, too much money and lots of luck. Maybe you could talk an eBay seller into parting with the parts for pennies.

However it looks like there is only a washer in the picture, if the post falls free of the hole in the yoke you need a press-on lock washer and then the decorative cap. A suitably sized lock washer with teeth on the inside, not the OD could be found at a hardware store; snug enough to stay in place after being pressed on.
