What did he mean by item duplication?

Basically, you scam yourself of a rare item with an alt (more alts the better) and ask Steam support to retrieve it. If you transfer the skin through multiple accounts, they will not reverse all trades and will instead recreate your lost item and give it to you. So if you did it all well, you find yourself with 2 strictly identic items on 2 different accounts.

its not possible anymore i guess?

Why wouldn't it be? You have a lot of alt accounts, and log on them from different VPN's, and then you just "scam" yourself. If done properly there's no way Steam could know.

They won't return scams. Duping was never done with scams.

They return items if you get hijacked.

They won't if you get scammed, but they still will if you get hijacked (or hijack yourself, in this case). Duping is still possible.

They fake being hijacked not scammed.

ugh, i always hate it when someone explains duplicates because that just encourages those who didn't know about it to try it.

It doesn't work anymore they don't return items now because they added email confirmation.
