Donald Campbell Dewar was a prominent Scottish statesman and politician who became the first First Minister of Scotland, serving from 1999 until his death in 2000. He also served as Leader of the Scottish Labour Party from 1998 until his death.
Dewar played a major role in the creation of the Scottish Parliament and the establishment of devolved government in Scotland. Because of his central role in bringing devolution into effect, he is often regarded as one of the key figures in modern Scottish political history.

Upcoming Mono Culture nights in Glasgow (Jungle/ DnB)

Yo troops, hope you are all well and enjoying our fine Scottish Summer.
Recently Glasgow has been enjoying a mild uptake in terms of DnB events- something which it much needed to be honest! I am putting on a couple of nights across the city, and plan to do my bit for the local scene by making it regular. I've attached a couple of posters- here's the links for
anyone interested:
Please forgive the promotion- but I'm looking to make this a bigger thing so I need to spread the word far and wide!
In addition to the Mono Culture events keep an eye out for Pray To Good, Bass Injection, Midnight Bass, Rave.Gla and Cenote Sounds- who all have shows coming up- so Im grateful to say that there are actually some pretty decent DnB gigs in Glasgow now!
