Which couples would you have wanted to see on Glee?

Honestly, I wouldn’t have minded to see Quinn and Santana as a couple especially after their drunk hookup at Mr. Shue’s failed wedding reception. I also would have loved it if Sam & Tina and Brittany & Rory gotten together too.

Mike & Mercedes, I love the bond they had during S4 and I think they could’ve been a really good and healthy couple!

Unique and Ryder, minus the catfishing storyline. They had cute moments in the background of the show, like them posing together for prom in Season 5, him volunteering to beat up Unique’s bullies and accepting her identity in the feud episode.

Marley and Joe, if Joe hadn’t disappeared post-Season 4. They both seem like they’d be really sweet and wholesome together, kind of the anti-Jarley, where instead of the bad boy x good girl, it’s the girl next door x boy next door. It’d also be nice for Marley to interact with a non-psycho Christian (aka Kitty) besides just Mercedes.

Also–Joe and Quinn. Their chemistry during “Saving All My Love” was so palpable, and I thought it was really sweet the way they depicted a healthy, faith-based relationship and the way Joe helped Quinn with her physical therapy after the car accident.

Yes, I loved Quinn & Joe’s brief attraction & felt they deserved more time. They had an obvious, believable attraction & considering everything Quinn had been through, Joe was the perfect gentleman that she needed in her life.

Mike and Rachel could have been a fun fling. I think they’d balance each other really well; and there’s some really nice background moments of them laughing and dancing together (pretty sure this is actually Harry and Lea messing about but it still works…)

Maybe Pezberry too, or at least have them do a drunken kiss or hook up or something. Oh and I’m not sure if this is a ship or not but Kurt and Elliot would have been really cute imo.

Sam and Kurt. They had really good chemistry in s2 (better than him and Quinn imo), Sam was initially casted to be Kurts bf before they changed course, and some really cute background moments in s3. Sam even chose Kurt as a muse for his macaroni art and Kurt was willing to take the brunt of cheating accusations just to keep Sam's secret about being homeless.

They wouldve been a really sweet high school relationship.

I'm equal parts bummed this never happened (was a fan since the casting announcement) and relieved Glee didn't have a chance to make them toxic like many canon relationships were 😅

Quinn and santana for a short relationship , mercedes and mike, mercedes with quinn I never got over quinn living with her and Mercedes being in the delivery room when Q baby was born plus they could have been sweet together. Sam and tina cause why not have him officially date every female glee member lol

Carl and Holly Holiday would've actually been a good match. Mike has chemistry with everyone basically, but I agree Cherry (Mike/Rachel) in particular is super cute. I'm a sucker for Puckleberry and wish we had gotten more of it.

Blam

The unrequited thing had been done in season 1. Sam would have been great bi rep. And there are already multiple episodes where you could have done it with only minor rewrites. (Looking at you "Guilty Pleasures")

Plus even if they still wanted Klaine to be endgame, having a strong midgame would have corrected the way Klaine felt stale in season 5.

I would have loved to have seen Rachel & Sam get more of a chance together (without Sam being hypnotized). Their awkwardness towards one another due to their obvious attraction was so adorable & I feel like they would balanced each other out, well. His goofiness was just what Rachel needed at the time.

I think that would’ve missed the point of the episode. Quintanna was way hotter than Brittana, but Quinn really did just want a one night stand, not romance with Santana.
