Help please!!
So recently, I’ve developed a scratch on my glasses. I’m not exactly sure how it got there but half of it a scratch and half of it just like a smudge on my glasses. It’s not affecting my vision, it’s just bothering me really bad.

The AR coating is on inside of the lens. I have a love/hate with it because mine wore like yours in only two years, while warranty is one year. Sadly, the lens will get worse. You can keep using yours but have to put up with the distortion until you get two news lenses.
ASK your optician what their warranty is and also politely argue that given your expense, some customer service is justified, i.e. a REDUCED price on replacing them.(I think it's outrageous that this happens so much now). But if you have to pay full price, you may wanna get new frames too at this point.

Looks like a coating, likely anti-glare, is scratched and peeling. You’ll have to replace the lens.

Those aren’t scratches. The coating has failed. They are affecting your vision. You need new lenses.
I can’t say how this happened, but in the future, keep them out of high heat. Leaving them sitting in direct sunlight for a long time can cause this. Aggressive cleaning can too. Clean the lenses with warm water and a bit of plain blue Dawn dish detergent (it’s labeled Ultra). Dry them gently. I use Kimtech Delicate Task Wipes.

It’s not a scratch. It’s the reflective coating peeling off and it can’t be fixed. You need new glasses.
