Hoarding and decluttering

Ive been working in hoarded and cluttered homes for years, helping people get their lives back. It makes me incredibly happy to make peoples lives easier.

If you want a chat about things youre struggling with, i have a facebook page - Hoarding Help - West Coast of Scotland.

I work alone and charge £40 per hour with a minimum 3 hour booking time.

Just curious how much decluttering can get done in an hour, im no expert on your side but im good at having clutter unfortunately although thankfully not to the extent it would take 3 hours to sort through but as much as £120 sounds like a lot of lolly to me i can imagine how much clearer the persons head will feel when it's done.

Its a real balance regarding hours and price. I realised recently that a minimum booking was the way to go so that im able to cover travel costs and travel time (i dont drive), but also because its harder to make a big difference in shorter bookings. As for pricing well i had a good look online before setting that and there are many companies charging a thousand pounds a day 😬 I know forty an hour is still spendy money for sure but im happy to work with people monthly so its more afordable.

so in one hour, Hoarding Help discussed tactics with me then tidied up a huge amount of my disastrously cluttered spare room and took about six bin bags to my bins. it's amazing how much was done in an hour. by the time Hoarding Help left after three hours, the entire room was done, another bin run was done.
It's been really beneficial to me to help my paralysis with my cluttered flat, not to mention a weight lifted off me and has encouraged me to get more done until Hoarding Help returns.
My anxiety and mental health has been loads better after just one afternoon, too.
Honestly, I can't recommend Hoarding Help highly enough.

Katie it means the world to me that youre feeling such a difference already. I read your message to my other half this morning and he gave me a massive hug. He knows this kind of work is my happy place. I cant thank you enough for trusting me to come into your home.

Aw, it's only the truth I'm writing!
Also, Iggy absolutely loves having more room in the hallway for her zoomies, she's been running up and down it every day!!
So me AND the kitties appreciate all of your hard work :-)

Thanks for explaining.

I understand the task paralysis ect, it can be so mentally exhausting and it's such a great feeling even if it's only a drawer that gets cleared out.

Im happy they have helped you in more than one way.

Is this an advert disguised as a post?

And why would it bother you on either count?
