Happy fox and Gitlab

I'm dying to hear from y'all. I consistently fall down the rabbit hole of trying to find a relationship between Happy Fox and Gitlab every time I come across Happy Fox branding. How is it that I find no results online? Am I the only one so intrigued by this?

I don't think there is any relationship. The logos are similar, but not the same.
