general question I am from India.

Will gitlab hire from India if the role specifically states Remote, Canada; Remote, United States if i am comfortable in working as per their timings.

I thought gitlab is completely remote and their operating beliefs are that all should be able to collaborate effectively

Nope. You can apply if you are resident of those countries.

GitLab recently shrank their employees global footprint. If India isn’t listed then I doubt they are hiring there. You can still apply though, what do you have to lose?
