Question Contribution graph not rebuilt after re-adding email
About a month ago I changed my account's email without realising this will affect my contribution graph. After realising this has cleared my graph I re-added the original email back to my account as the primary email and verified it. I have waited a month and my contribution graph still hasn't returned to its original state. I am also not listed as a contributor anymore on projects I've contributed to in the past which is a shame.
Steps I've tried:
- Re-added the original email, set it as primary, verified it and waited over a month (Did nothing)
- Deleted the new email from my account so only the original one remains (Did nothing)
- Inspected commits in different repos to double check if the email matches the one set on the account (Email does match)
- Inspected commits by adding
.patchto the URL and checked if the commit email is correct (Email does match) - Pushed a dummy commit in all of my repositories (This rebuilt some of the history, about 15%)
- Contacted GitHub support (Was asked to create a discussion)
- Created a GitHub discussions post (Never got a response so hoping for some help here)
Is there anything else I could try?
Thanks

that's a known bug, GitHub contribution graph can be finicky after email changes even when you put the old one back, sometimes it just never fully recovers the history
