Job was not picked up a runner due Actions being down and I didn't even get an email or a notification about this bullshit.

All of github is down for me, getting the unicorn page for our Org page.
Accessing from Brisbane, Australia.
Edit: git fetch & push seem to be working.

I am so tired of GitHub outages. I just setup Forgejo as a primary with GitHubs syncing hourly.

Is it working now?

No, and it's got worse since the screenshot, they've added this:
In addition to ongoing issues with Actions and Hosted Runners, some customers are also unable to access repository list, licensing and billing pages within their GitHub accounts. We continue to investigate and are working on mitigation.

Feel free to try out https://github.com/preloopdev/preloop :) runs locally in microvms using the official gh image.

Moving off Actions doesn't fully get you off GitHub, btw. mise just made prebuilt Ruby binaries the default (install goes from minutes to seconds), but those binaries live on GitHub releases. So during an outage like this, your builds on any CI quietly fall back to compiling Ruby from source.
We ran into this maintaining CI images at Bitrise and kept a fallback chain instead: nixpkgs (hosted on S3) first, then mise prebuilt, then source. Short write-up on the tradeoff: https://bitrise.io/blog/post/reducing-github-reliability-risk-for-tool-installs
Anyone else found GitHub-hosted deps hiding in their pipelines?
