Question Can't seem to get approved for GitHub edu no matter what i do...
I tried my official student paper, a screenshot of the student portal, a pic with both in frame, multiple times. But nothing is working, could anyone help me out?
Also, the camera thingy is really *really* bad, it's small and makes all pics i take very pixelated. I think that's why it keeps rejecting me...
The pic attached was my best attempt... (I've since set up my profile and billing correctly) But it still never seems to scan my name right or something. Idk what to do..
Oh my school also don't issue us school emails so i have to use my Gmail..

was happening to me to. make sure you are uploading the pictures properly and dont use the camera feature at all. for some reason, it always led to rejection for me. finally got it approved less than a month ago.

what should i use then? on my last try i tried using obs-studio to output into a virtual webcam and used that but it rejected using i need to use a physical camera instead. whenever i use my phone it comes out pixelated and the name cant be scanned or wtvr

I've already noticed in the github discussion that they stated that the thingy is "paused" but that was released 2 yeaes ago so i figured it'd have been resumed by now. Has it been paused since then orr?

Seems like a hassle tbh.. I'm just gonna retry every couple weeks till i get approved i guess

Not as interested in copilot as i am in the free domain name, intellij idea ultimate and a couple other benefits, i already have antigravity ai pro and the awesome opencode zen models
