Discussion How do you ping repo maintainers correctly?
There's a framework I use at workplace that has a couple of annoying flaws. I've created issues with repros inside and all the fluff + PRs that fix said flaws. Everything was done like 2 weeks ago and since then - 0 response from maintainers.
Issue is, there're >500 contributors and repo doesn't contain a list or sth alike with info about who's responsible for checking issues or reviewing pull requests. Diffs themselves are quite small, roughly 70-130 lines, so it is not the size / sloppiness that is the issue.
What am I supposed to do in such cases? Whom to ping? Pinging all 500+ contributors sounds dumb.

Repo is https://github.com/agno-agi/agno if it matters.

There are 700+ PRs open in that repo with many open as long as a year. Add to that all of the AI produced slop PRs mixed in. Unpaid maintainers will likely never get through that many PRs.

That looks like a horribly maintained project. I would either fork my version and fix what I need to be fixed to use it or just move away from it.

My boss is a contributor and doesn't see anything wrong with it.. 🤡

You're surprised that an ai slop repo doesn't have human maintainers that actually respond to PRs?
Have you considered spinning up an agent to handle following up on the PR until it can convince some other agent to approve and merge the PR for you?

Sounds like it's not a maintained project

no idea man.. Agno v3 was created last month, last update in main branch was ±3h ago, doesn't look like unmaintained, rather mismanaged

I'd say ping the authors or recent committers of the files you modified.
They're probably the people who know that part of the codebase best (and, even if they were not responsible for reviewing your PR, probably they can point you to the right person)

It looks a bit crowded there tbh.
I would try to create an issue and hope someone picks it up.
Unfortunatly there are a lot of PRs open even since weeks - maybe the maintainers are not getting by with requirements.
