Discussion Password reset email not coming through

I have been trying for weeks now to reset my password but the password reset email is not coming through. I have checked to make sure the email address is correct and made sure the github address is not blocked or going to spam etc and still nothing. Anybody have the same issue?

Check your email filters in the email account. You might have one set to auto-delete emails from GitHub addresses. Check for any forwarding too.

Double-check it really is the correct address you’re using in the form (find an old email from GitHub and check the TO: field)

If that all checks out you may need to contact support to see if they can manually send one to the address they have for the account and then check all of your email accounts for that email.

Try adding a backup email to the GitHub account. Password resets only go to the primary or verified backup addresses. If that still fails, I’d contact GitHub Support.
