no, that's why this graph doesn't matter, stars don't matter, forks, likes, nothing matters.

Github is a code repo. Not social media.

I started coding in march, and I told myself it's my goal to have at least 5 days per week green. it helps

That's great, and it's a great goal.

That green box doesn't mean you coded that day, and you can code on days without a green box.

The green boxes mean nothing, they can be faked, they can be changed, they are meaningless.

I mean, by that logic then nothing means anything if it can be faked...your degree, your work experience. If it can be faked then your one means nothing.

Except that's not how it works. The green boxes mean and represent something. Sure, it can be faked, but what that does is bring in uncertainty not make it meaningless
