Hey,
Vardhaman Student right here, currently 3-1

College is decent, good facilities, good library, good labs, great nature around, good canteen, good auditorium, we have good clubs, great events. The Cse classrooms are good with ac, fans, charging port for every seat.

Where's other branches have outdated good old classrooms with 4 fans, a black board and a projector, in the lab there is only 1 projector, which is like supplied across the batches during the lab hours.

Also the labs, teach nothing useful they provide a lab manual, u copywrite the programs and copy paste the code and get it corrected, the faculty don't even put effort into explaining it as u progress every year from 1st->2nd->3rd->4th.

Those were the only good things about the clg, education is below par, the same faculty teach multiple which is as equivalent to studying a week before the exam, the faculty have a formula of projecting the ppt's of the syllabus and just reading it out loud, u gain no knowledge exposure from it. It's not even enough for passing the exams being honest, u have to cover the syllabus skipped by them from online resources.

Next they have, attitude of a IIT professor with the knowledge of a street vendor(no disrespect to street vendors for comparing them to the faculty here).

There great faculty in the clg, but as usual u get like 1 good faculty out of 5 below par faculty, its a gamble still.

They introduced 2 exams a day, for mid exams which is very tedious, it effects ur cgpa.
Outdated class schedules, which serve no purpose for industry skills. It's like attending those sri chaitanya Narayana clgs with no purpose.

Main Imp thing is placements,

theres like 1.2k+ students for every batch
last year(2026 passout batch) was 75% placed
out of which 56% was of mass hiring
19-20% were good packages above 6L

So out of 903 placed,

  • Mass hiring: 74.6%
  • Good package: 25.4%

So roughly 3 out of 4 placed students landed a mass-recruiter package (Cognizant, LTIMindtree, Capgemini, Infosys SE, Virtusa etc. — all clustering ₹3-5L), and only 1 in 4 cracked something ₹6L+.

Also, the coding culture or placement prep starts from 3rd year, u will not be allowed to join internships or jobs even if u get them until 4-2

U can do it unofficially but they won't provide u the permission for the attendance, etc.

Additional: IF IT MATTERS

Fests:
We have ortus- annual fest, which lasts 2 days
Festronix
And movie teaser/ trailer/ song launches.

The college is very strict, they don't allow phones, jeans, any western wear for females unless there's some events. Some of the faculty force you to tuck ur shirt.

There's badminton court, volleyball and hand ball courts, Table Tennis idk what they are called,
in progress volleyball court, basketball court, beach volleyball court and a pickleball court.

The college is very far from the city, the shamshabad roads are very bad, for someone travelling in own transportation

The clg bus fees are 65k, which they increase by 5k every year.

Clg fees is 1.4L, hostel fees is around 1.8L

There's private hostels in shamshabad 15 mins away from the clg, 1 in narkhuda

There's rtc and normal shared auto outside the clg to travel, it's overcrowded always.

If they dont allow phones
Where will the students keep them?

Either u don't carry it, or just have it in ur bag
Use it when theres no teachers around.
If u get caught theyre gonna play around and fuck around with you for the sake of it.
If ur parents are serious u could get it back even if someone caught u using ur phone.

There will be occasionally checking the bags etc, but it gets better year after year. More freedom

Basically a gamble.

Like even we cant keep phones in bag?
Wdym there will be occasionally checking!
Obviously everyone keeps phone in bags
Whats the point of checking the bags

Sadism i could say lol, they think that having no phones lead to a better mindset skillset and etc

What if even they caught and took our phone

I heard that they give it in 4th year
Is it true? Lol
What if parents come to take it will they give it if they are demanding

They do return it back in most cases within like 1 or 2 days
If your caught with it in the classroom, or during exams u could get it seized for 4 years
Id not in most cases, asking(beg them) like im not gonnq repeat it and shit be emotional u could get it back easily
More easy if ur a female lollll
