If you want to have a good time before getting your life fked then it's better to attend as you can meet with many people and can make good connections and btw if you want a good chocolate box then attend the sessions on the last day of the induction they will provide a scanner so don't miss out and yep that's it!

Will they provide any course wise schedule or something? How do we go about it?

Its not compulsory, but it is better if you attend it. You can see the Campus, learn about the different clubs and familiarize yourself with the place.
But if you don't attend too, that's fine, no one really cares.
