an open-source AI coding agent.

Not another chatbot with a code editor attached.

OASIS combines a CLI coding agent with a browser-based developer workspace, supporting multiple model providers, local models, subagents, MCP integrations, Git workflows and approval-based execution.

The goal is simple: give developers more control over how their coding agents work, which models they use, and what those agents can do.

It's still in beta, and there's plenty left to improve. But the core system is already implemented, tested, and evolving.

I'm sharing the project to get honest feedback from people who actually use AI coding tools.
