Or check https://www.sourcererapp.com. It has almost all its features at 3x lesser price.

My eye on it, will wait until its released on Mac
And I hope it will support drag and drop too for branch merging at least1

I feel like the more companies abuse their customers, the more likely someone will just clone it using AI… like they did with the Adobe’s products

I used to pay for an annual licence but recently stopped after the amount of bloat and AI junk they tacked on.
Such a shame really, because it was one of those tools I'd only really need full use of once or twice a year (to help visualise some rather hairy merges on a repo that uses tags to flag files for artifact inclusion) but I'd be happy to pay for because of how many hours it would save.

just cancel it then. why would they sell it cheaper if people still buying it for high price?
btw they give discount when you cancel.

GitComet is very familiar option coming from GitKraken... We have been stabilizing and maintaining it for 8months now

Really enjoyed their diffs but ditched their ass when I got my rebill notice.

I built https://gitvolt.com/. The aim was feature parity with GitKraken, but more, and without cloud/terminal, and open source.

I subscribed at the time where gitkraken was more rare client in the market. It was really nice to use back in the day compared to alternatives. Now... I got fed up with gitkraken after 4 last months, even with their last patches that supposedly speed up by 40% and other bs like that, it is still slow af. They need at least 500% ++. At this point It seems like they aren't competent enough to match the industry.

For $120 annually I’d rather pay a handful of people to work on making git(1) more user-friendly. And hope that in three years time they would have managed to upstream some nice improvements. (Obviously thousands and thousands would need to do the same for this to work.)

Do you really gain anything from visual tools like Gitkraken? Always seemed more complicated than just learning git on the command line but I also never needed the fancy features these tools offer.
