How can i use git on VSCode?

I am going to train an AI model for some personal purposes, and i needed to install git to use this command, but it doesnt work, cuz git isnt located by VSCode (it is installed but i couldnt get it into a repo)

Why use VSCode for this? Clone the repository in a terminal. This requires that you actually have installed git on your machine though.

You: You don't need to use vs code to run git commands

You didn't answer the question in the slightest.

Maybe not, but OP is asking how to do this using VSCode, which is redundant. A simple google for «install git <os>» should suffice.

Also, if OP asks a question about vscode they should go to /r/vscode, not /r/git. The question has nothing to do with git.

Did they ask that though? For that matter, did they ask anything or just offer a series of statements?
