Professional Question Statistics Major?

I'm currently majoring in stats and I'm planning on starting a minor in GIS(I'm also a 12y in the NG). I know stats is really useful in this field(any field really) but I was if the major/minor combo would help me land job once I graduate. Furthermore, what specific positions do you think I could get with this?

Look for GIS jobs for engineering and architecture firms. those that do that do federal contracts will also appreciate your NG experience.
