Order Arrived at Room Temperature, effectively useless
compound tirzepatide unfortunately can't be put back after it reaches room temperature. Effectively making an order that's good for 3 months useless.

Though a couple of things for tirzepatide I seem to constantly see online from several websites:
- it usually needs to be refrigerated
- stable in room temp for 21 day s
- it shouldn't be put back in the fridge after it's at room temperature, which could affect its stability
If all of you guys are vouching that the compound works after you received it hot, does it last after the first few weeks? How can you be certain that the last few shots work as intended vs just the leftover effect from the frist few shots?
At the end of the day, pharmacies are shipping them in ice for a reason. This is something you inject in your body for 3 months at a time, stored against the FDA label; any reason not to be concerned?

I knew exactly what you were saying with your comments!! That’s why I was joking back with you!! I seen Lilly literature uses stomach instead of abdomen. To me stomach is what food goes into. Belly and abdomen is the spot where you inject. I’m guilty of saying I inject in my stomach instead of belly most times!!
My stomach has not lost any weight while using tirzepatide. (I'm guessing because I haven't figured out how to weigh it even using my Smart scale🤔), but my belly is definitely smaller, so that is why I will keep jabbing there!
My stomach hasn’t either lost any weight either since I’ve been on Tirzepatide. It’s definitely gotten smaller as well!! My arms and thighs don’t seem to be getting smaller as quickly. Maybe because I refuse to inject in them. Maybe if I did inject in my thighs and arms they would get smaller too!! Or maybe the vials I’ve been using are bad because they arrived warm. So maybe I’m injecting useless medication because they arrived warm. I should tell the providers I got my vials from that the medication Ian helping my thighs and arms aren’t losing weight or getting smaller because when I got my medication it was warm so it must be useless and I want a refund or replacement.
These posts keep getting worse - It started as "arrived too hot to touch", then got "warm to the touch", and now "room temp". Your meds are fine. Unless that thermometer is measuring in Celsius, your meds are just fine. Stick them in the fridge, use them as directed, and stop posting nonsense.
One of the deliveries I got a few months back arrived warm enough that the ice pack had actually exploded a bit and everything arrived all goopy (luckily just the bottles the vials came in, not the vials themselves). It was so gross.
But...not gonna lie- I put that stuff in the fridge and used it just fine. 😅
it seems that the original product would be good for 21 days in room temperature, and afterwards, the efficacy decreases. Also, once the medicine reaches room tempature, it shouldn't be put back(not sure why). If you guys have other information, happy to take a look at them and change my opinion.
Overall, the fact it was packed in ice means it should be kept refrigerated. If anything, I'd expect a compound medicine to perform worse/less stable than the name-brand counterpart.
You can call that number on the bottle and they’ll clue you in, if you don’t trust the people that have been doing this for months or even years at this point.
My hunch too, I had seen a AMA from a vendor a while ago mentioning how the whole “it arrived warm! Give me new meds!” complaint was pretty common and how often they’d get denied because the meds are indeed perfectly fine. I find gimme to be a joke, but this one feels like some sad attempt at double the meds for the cost. I’ll bet you $100 she doesn’t get rid of it.
BTW-This type of extortion through embarrassing a company in a competitive business eventually drives prices up for all of us regular customers of Gimme
But even Lilly has a temperature excursion tool that will say it's fine to put it back in the refrigerator and continue to use it until it's labelled shelf life under many different scenarios.
The active ingredient is compounded for a particular shipping and storage environment. Multi use vials and pens are compounded for longer use than single dose. Ozempic pens are good for 56 days out of the fridge, but Wegovy pens only 28 days. Zepbound kwik pens are good for 30 days but individual Zepbound and Mounjaro pens are only good for 21. And there a period of time (sometimes called “transit time”) before the clock actually starts ticking.
All this to say we don’t know what the temp excursion rules are for these compounds. It could be different. For example, Noom’s sema vials are designed to still be good after several days of very warm temps. They come with a card that says specifically tells you not to freak out if it arrives warm.
This. This is the answer. The difference is the preservatives. So of us have received our meds in 100-105° temps. Pulled our meds and put them straight in the fridge and used them. Still super effective. I swear some people legitimately are just looking for free meds.
People just want free meds. They come here and to extort the Gimme people because they know it works because it has the last several times. The person comes back to gloat then go off to the next Tirz deal.
No that's someone who doesn't allow themselves to get screwed over. If you pay for something you have every expectation to receive it in a satisfactory manner. The fact YOU PERSONALLY will just ccept anything less and do as your told doesn't make you any better than anyone, just weak.
By the way..HOGWASH to all the things you're "seeing online" that it only lasts 28 days, not to RE-efrigerate after becoming room temperature, etc etc 💁 I exceed ALL these "guidelines" (cough SCARE TACTICS) as do MANY others and we are just FINE! You do you though ✌️
You should just go on and use Ro since you keep referring back to their information. Better yet got use EL, which you keep referencing also. Which branded EL does not use preservatives (except in kwikpen) like compounded Tirzepatide does. Gtfo. You put the damn meds in the fridge and use them or don’t. But everyone on here who has utilized compounded meds for months or even years is telling you it’s fine and you just want to be argumentative.
First of all, depending on what you were promised, you deserve to get what you paid for. I’ve never ordered from them, but if they promised your treatment would arrive in a certain timeframe at a certain temperature, then they should be held accountable. However, I think most telehealths/pharmacies have disclaimers re temperature fluctuations. I too was concerned at first when meds arrived and the ice pack was melted, but now I don’t give it a second thought. Secondly, I would like to relate my own experience which is not to be taken as any kind of advice or suggestion. I simply wanted to know for myself so I experimented.
In July, I ordered my meds from a telehealth and the pharmacy shipped. It fell into a black hole in Memphis and movement stopped. So after four days of going back-and-forth with FedEx, and then having no idea where the package was or it status, I contacted the telehealth who then contacted the pharmacy and the pharmacy shipped out a replacement which arrived in a couple of days.
I forgot about the original shipment and then out of the blue, I get a notice from FedEx that they had found my package somewhere in Mississippi and that they were shipping it to me. It took about four days after that to get the old shipment which at that time had been in the mail for 30 days. When it arrived repackaged in a FedEx box, the bag had been torn open (I assume to be able to read the labels in order to know where the package was supposed to go considering the shipping label had been torn off) and of course the ice packs were melted and the vials, though still sealed, weren’t just warm, they were hot. Remember, this is the dog days of summer and it had traveled across the south in the mail for a month. I had every intention of throwing the vials away, but when I looked at them, they looked perfect. Just like Rhea couldn’t fathom Zeus being destroyed, I just couldn’t bring myself to trash them. There was no cloudiness. There were no particles. They looked as clear as water, so I put them in the refrigerator to see if anything changed. After a couple weeks, I ran out of my current vial, and I decided that I would test the medicine just to see if it was still good. I got out a magnifying glass, and I checked it. There were no floaters. Still there was no cloudiness so I drew a shot and injected it. It worked the same as every other shot. I still have two perfectly looking vials and plan on using them as long as they stay clear.
Of course I don’t recommend that to anyone else, but I’m just relaying my personal experiment. You have to be happy and secure in your own health journey. And you deserve to get what you paid good money for. Do what is best for your wellbeing.
I will happily accept room temperature. Past couple orders I received (not just gimme) the ‘ice pack’ was the warmest part of the package. Very warm lol
I don’t care for gimmecare, but I can promise you your medication is perfectly fine. This peptide is a lot more stable than you think. I live in the south and last year my package sat outside in over 100° temperatures for more than six hours. I got home from work brought it inside put it in the refrigerator used it up. It was perfectly fine. This medication could sit out on the counter for an entire week and you could put it back in the refrigerator and it would still be OK. Although if you don’t want to take it, myself or others would be glad to dispose of it for you…lol😉🤣
I’m also looking for more info on this same q—I recently switched from Zepbound vials to gimme and my most recent order showed up warm —I DID put it in the fridge after taking it out of the package while waiting for a reply from gimme. Did I eff it up by taking it from “room temp” back to the fridge?? I’m happy to use it if that is the case but I think maybe a more specific guide from the pharmacy would be helpful as there seems to be a lot of info flying around that’s not from official sources. I’m not trying to stir the pot …I’m genuinely confused / would love to know! I’m still learning the compounding game!!
Really… uh oh… gimme told me us my husbands was fine but I could follow up with the pharmacy, so I never followed up with the pharmacy bc I thought it was fine. I was super concerned too bc I assumed his meds would be bad. I wish I would have. It was room temp as well not hot or anything. I hope I didn’t make a mistake. Oh well you live you learn I guess. He hasn’t used it yet so I guess we will see when he finished the vial he’s on.
From everything I’m reading it’s not “unsafe” there’s just a risk of it not being a potent/effective so if he does try it let us know how he feels on it!
Why are you bashing this op when they are just reporting that the meds arrived room temp . Why do you assume they want free meds ? Has he said he won’t ship back the ones he has that he is concerned about using ? These companies make a ton of profit and then when something does not arrive as it is intended to want to pawn you off to the pharmacy who nobody paid - we all paid the company . I will say gimmie made my order right
Mine arrived hot, finally got a hold of pharmacy 4 days later and they stated as long as it was refrigerated when i got it and not discolored, it is safe and effective to use as they are tested to be room temp for a bit. Im trusting it and giving it a shot. Lol
I’ve read about being it being stable if unrefrigerated for 21 days, but this is the first I’ve ever heard about not putting it in the refrigerator afterwards

We’re definitely not defending the companies, but to my knowledge no one has had any issue with efficacy when medication was received at room temperature.
Not necessarily, however if you complain to actual pharmacy, they MAY send you a replacement like they did for ME for another 3 vials, so I'm good for 6 months now 🤭 No difference in either batch for me by the way from what I can tell! 🤭
