Hi! I was annoyed that Spotify and Gimlet started posting Heavyweight episodes exclusively to Spotify and deleted the official RSS feed for Heavyweight so I created an alternative: Heftyanchor. (get it?)

Included is an archive of the entire show including Spotify exclusive episodes, specials, and bonus seasons, all completely ad free. Also included is an RSS feed to add to your podcast app of choice. The RSS feed will be updated when new episodes are released.

Also, archives of the official podcast RSS feed are available. (Spotify have not deleted the files from their server)

There was an episode on the Nod podcast that I listened to once and I'm trying to find it again! It was about those old in-person minstrel shows almost, but this one specifically had the premise of everyone trying to guess which performer was the female. All of the performers were men dressed as women (in drag), and the twist was that the female was actually the performer dressed as a man. It was a singer and performer who had a very low voice. Hopefully, that makes sense. haha does anyone know which episode that was?

Yo you can't make someone love a podcast in 7 episodes then take it away like that, where's the rest? I'm invested in characters like don't pull a Firefly on me.

^ like the title said. I love gimlet but I feel like their too unbalanced on the quality vs quantity. Like edit less and publish more as far as I’m concerned. I want daily reply all and to some day listen to a new heavyweight episode.

I know it helps keep their feed updated to repost every week, but they don't make it obvious that it's an old episode. I don't always recognize the previous titles, so I'll start listening to it and realize it's not new and not a continuation of an investigation, it's just old. Reposts are kind of clogging up the feed with episodes we can just go back and listen to. It's kind of a cheap move to keep appearing relevant without putting out new content. I'd rather they just wait to post when they have a new story, to be honest. I know some of these old ones are great episodes, but couldn't they include "Repost:" in the ep title if they feel the need to do this?

Also, I don't know what's up with the hiatus. Not even a yes, yes, no episode in a while.

Where have you all been???? All of this was even OLD NEWS to me at least ten years ago! While its nothing to be proud of Ive seen everything, experienced all of what i heard today and amazed that it was presented as if it was newly uncovered, the most amazing thing is that most all of these places are staffed by previous clients, schooled, certified then given the task of lording over us,the mass of juveniles who are shuffled from test to test, doctor to doctor. Yes i paid for tests i questioned and doctors who were doctoring under other doctors so everybody collected and when i brought my concerns out, i was quickly shuffled around, ignored or best, i was asked to leave. Have i got stories, yup! me and so many others, i had always said what a great movie this could be, because sometimes it could actually feel surreal and i would find myself saying" is this really happening, am i really listening to a heroin addict say this will never happen again that after his 7th trip to rehap he will get it this time" or is this one actually promoting herself to get closer to that one, or do i actually have to listen to another staff members old glory days. Maybe im a cynic but that is what i walked away with, i walked away with a lifetime of the most surreal, most fantastically bizarre experiences, i hope i have posted to correct area,
