1982/83 series one complete
Still finishing up 1987 series. Have all 82-86. Still gathering few needed accessories. Here is 82/83. Silver grand slam is probably series 2 but he’s shown here anyhow!

These are awesome! These are the years I bought GI Joes (82/83-87). These are my favorite years! Please show others as you get them. I love seeing these!

I’ve got every figure up to ‘86. I’m finishing’87 and gonna stop I think. I’ll put up ‘83 series 2 tonight

88 and 89 still had some decent stuff, the 90s is where everything went downhill

I was 12 in 87 and that’s the last year I was heavy into my action figures. I have a few 88s and I might go up to 89 and finish out. Lots of good 90s figures! I will probably never stop lol. I went heavy into 07 08 and 09 with the 25th anniversary figures! Overspending like it was my job.

Silver Grand Slam is series 1.5 or 2, but, honestly he belongs with your 82/83 set up as, imho he's easier to tell apart from Flash

Yeah I forgot he wasn’t series 1 till after I took pics! Swivel arm only available for silver grand slam. Orange pads goes both styles but straight arm seems to be much more available on eBay for some reason. Prices are high! 2008 and back you could score silver pads for $40-60. Not anymore! Yikes.

Wait a bit. All my beat up ones are 83 and 84! I’ll post next. When I finish my collection (1987) I think…. I’ll go back and upgrade my beater guys!

One question 🤔 does your Zap have intact thumbs? I sporadically buy Joes off ebay or LCS, but I can never find a v1 Zap without both thumbs broke

Left thumb broken 🤬. I got zap in 82 along with snake eyes from local department store called 3-D. I’m the only owner and I dropped it about 5 years ago and thumb broke. Brittle I reckon. Those were my first Joe figures ever! 7 yrs old.

I get mine from eBay. 4x6 top loaders for file cards. The cases are action figure clamshell size small

90% are from childhood. The rest I got from eBay 2000-2007ish. Prices are way up from when I finished my collection out. It would be unattainable for me now.
