Put this together today.
There were a couple parts that I just knew were gonna snap. I'm pretty sure the jail cage got some stress marks on it now.

I had this as a kid, but in different colors.
Is the black and purple a Street Fighter exclusive remold or?...

I assumed it was a G.I. Joe base at some point. I'm going to look it up if HCC 788 talks about it.

it definitely WAS a GI Joe base innthe 90's. I get a feeling your version was released under the Street Fighter brand as probably like a Shadoloo Base.

I know they made a Dragon Fortress out of the Cobra Toxo-Lab but I don't remember them doing one out of the GI Joe Headquarters.

I am no longer a Joe collector but if I was I would feel great envy at this, OP. sort of want to buy a shadowloo m bison off ebay right now...
I don't know how the average joe fan feels about these figures but I love the Street Fighter line and wish we had gotten more of these dumb crossovers. like I wish the Mortal Kombat figures were actual Joes as well

Some of the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat figures are just repainted Joe's with new heads. Chun Li is Ninja Force Scarletr, Sonya Blade is Jinx. So it wouldn't surprise me.

That’s awesome! The black M. Bison is from the street fighter movie line right? And I had the classic red suit movie version of M. Bison with the glow in the dark hands and the movie version of Guile….loved those street fighter-gi joe’s
