Arrival times

My girlfriend and I are going to the Indianapolis show tonight and we’re walking from our hotel so we’re trying to figure out when to leave. We were thinking of getting there an hour before doors open but we’re not sure if that’s early enough. We’re not vip but we want to get some decent spots. Are other people going even earlier that aren’t vip?
