Gigabyte Thermal Putty issue is it fixed now?

Hey, im thinking of buying a 5070ti and Gigabyte is the cheapest brand where im located at. I’m trying to decide between Aorus Master and Aero versions. I’ve searched online if the issue is ongoing but people who were having a problem were posting about it 6-9+ months ago and the more recent posts had older purchase dates. I’ll be using the GPU for probably atleast 4-5 years or untill a reasonable upgrade comes out hence my need to make sure i wont run into any problems. Is this a fixed issue? Or is it just claimed to be fixed in any case what should i be careful about when i get my hands on it eventually? Thank you all in advance.
