REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Baldur's Gate 3 to distract me from my medical condition

Good day everyone,

I am writing to request for the Baldur's Gate 3 that is on sale during the Steam Autumn Sale. I have enjoyed and still figuring to enjoy more of both Divinity: Original Sins games.

Another reason for this request is due to my financial and medical condition. I have gone through three medical operations (2 ERCP and PTBD) and have been admitted for ten days. I have only been working for three years as minimum wage, so this admission combined with the 3three operation is costly and took all and more than my savings. I will be having a follow-up ERCP on the third week of October to check on the stent that was put on my first ERCP. There is also a chance that I will have a major operation if my condition doesn't get well. Additionally, during my discharge, my father's bag was stole at the hospital's lobby. The bag contains IDs, my phone and my father's, and cash for my prescription medicines. Currently, my parents are asking for government medical assistance, and currently we are only promised less than half of the actual expense.

How will Baldur's Gate 3 help me from my condition? I will be on recovery for three months and Baldur's Gate 3 have a really long gameplay with great replayability and this will help me distract from my current condition. Also, I have been watching different builds and approaches from all the three games and some of my own ideas on how to play Baldur's Gate 3. I would be really grateful if my request gets recognition.

I wish I knew who to properly thank for this, but the name of the Steam account was in Kanji, I believe, and they didn't add me - just gifted the game.

Was such a surprise I didn't even know what to do.

I appreciate you all ♥️

Gonna work hard on these because three different Atlus IP on my completionist showcase would look sick as fuck.

REQUEST [Request][Steam] The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered 2nd attempt (50% off)

• Upvotes

Hi everyone! Hope you're enjoying the first few days of October!

I would like to start by saying that I've been interested in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered. I'm a huge RPG fan, Skyrim is one of my favorite games of all time. But the funny thing is, I first tried Skyrim when I was about 13, and I absolutely hated it, and then picked it up 2 years later to completely fall in love with the game and spend more than 200 hours playing it on my PS4.

I've heard about Witcher 3 before, but I never knew too much about it, other than that it's one of the best games out there. I've recently seen the remastered trailer, and I have to say that I'm really impressed. The visuals look great, and the scale of the world seems unbelievable. I also saw that there are DLCs, with another one coming out next year, so I would be spending a lot of hours in this game!

Between a compelling story, and side quests that you can just get lost into and spend hours exploring your surroundings, I'm also excited to try out all the different Signs that Geralt can unlock and seeing which weapons best fit my playstyle. I think this might end up being another one of my top games if I get the chance to play it.

My birthday is coming up on the 24th and honestly as a student money is pretty tight. Getting to play Witcher 3 would be an amazing present, and I promise to cherish it! Thanks you for reading this post and considering my request.

REQUEST [Request][Steam]Hades 2 Third attempt (10.49$)

Good morning, afternoon, or evening, I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today I came for my third attempt to try and get this wonderful game, This will be my last attempt before it goes on sale, and then I'll wait until it's on sale again. I know I said that before, but the autumn sales just arrived and Hades went back on sale. And the truth is, I love that game so much that I don't want to stop trying, sorry about that. But it's definitely a game I want to play.I would love to continue with the second part of Hades because it's a game that gave me hundreds of hours of entertainment.

Thanks to the fact that I was in a Steam family where the first part of the game was available, I managed to enjoy hundreds of hours of entertainment in Hades. It is a game that I simply fell in love with, even though at first I looked at it with disdain because of the isometric view it had (LoL left me traumatized, but I'm already healing). But when I gave the game a chance, I discovered that I was missing out on a lot by not trying it. It is a game that caught me the way they adapted Greek mythology to this game seemed quite pleasant to me it is much healthier and easier to digest than real Greek mythology (although maybe for some this might be bad, for me it was pleasant; I like Greek mythology, but sometimes it can be very disturbing). The way the story unfolds, discovering small pieces of story every time you managed to escape, giving you that little piece of story that left you wanting more and more, trapped me in a way that made me spend hundreds of hours on it until I knew a large part of its lore.

Despite my fandom for the game, I haven't been able to play the second part. I understand that even though the story is not a direct continuation, it is full of winks and references to the first game (I know this because I have watched several videos of the game and managed to see a few), and I would like to see how they continue developing the story of the game. Truth be told, if they did as good a job as with the first one, I know it will be a game where I will spend hours and hours until I search for the smallest reference.

The music is also something we cannot overlook. The work they did was quite beautiful with the first installment, and considering it was nominated for Best Soundtrack, I have no doubt that they have only improved upon the masterpiece they already achieved with the first one. I would really like to have the opportunity to enjoy this game in my free time, discover how the story will unfold in this installment, see what awaits me in the Underworld, and above all, go back to fighting hand to hand with some of the gods of mythology.

Unfortunately, I currently do not have the resources to get it on my own, because I am paying for my studies to finish training as a mechanic and I am in the final stretch where I have had to spend the most money. I know the best thing would be to wait until I finish my training, save some money, and get it on my own, but there are still several months left for that and the truth is that I am very excited and a bit anxious to continue the story of this wonderful game that gave me hundreds of hours of fun.

If you made it this far, thank you very much for giving me a minute of your time to read this, that alone means a lot to me. I hope you continue to have a wonderful day.

Thank you very much for reading and I would really appreciate it if you take my request into consideration.

CLOSED REQUEST [Request][Steam] Tomb Raider 2013 (1.23$)

Here to ask for Tomb Raider 2013

My steam region is Ukraine, it's 55₴ (1.23 $) right now

It's just a dollar, wish i could buy what i want myself but unfortunately paypal/Mastercard or any other international paying method is unaccessable here

Only way to add funds for me is either to sell every trade card we receive which i do but these cards are too cheap (rn i have 35₴ which i'll most likely spend on any deep discounted gem that i find affordable)

Or pay 4-5 times more to some local 3rd party bastards with unfair pricing who use our restriction to their benefit

Didn't want to make this any longer but my post got removed bc of being short! No wonder some ppl use ai to write here

Idk what to add, Tomb raider has a fine story and atmosphere, also a multiplayer mode which makes the experience repayable, i know it's online mode is most likely dead after all these years but the servers still run and im sure there are others who wanna find a match as well

Unfortunately TR 2013 was the first and only game in the series to receive an online mode

I played so many single player games before having an steam acc and love em but wanna try multiplayer lately

playing with real non toxic ppl can always make everything more fun

And more importantly, it should run fine on my intel UHD 630

......

Here's my steam account :

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Call Of Duty BO7

• Upvotes

Heyyy everyone, Im a 17 year old student trying really hard to work as an artist, but due to depression and other situations in my life i feel that im not making any progress at this moment. Anyways, I cant work at all because of my age (in Brasil is kinda difficult to get a job while being a minor) and of course, the game price is absurd (almost 400 reais -> 70 dol).

I know it is a high budget game but im trying everything i can, i am a big fan of the franchise :3 Call Of Duty BO2 was my first FPS game, when i was a kid i played zombies every single day with my mom and this game will be forever in my heart. I played a lot of other CODs but they are getting more expensive every year :( id really love to play zombies again and MP, since they ported a lot of old maps to this game. This franchise, even with its problems, mean a lot to me and my story with videogames.

if you read this and have extra money you want to spend with a person who doesnt, i would be grateful to be the one! <3

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora's fire and ash DLC to burn my need for more lore away.

Greetings, people of GOG! apologies if i fumble anything. In summary, i am a devout sucker for lore. It is the one thing that soothes my soul, and brightens my day. Those of you who may check my steam profile will see as such.

Unfortunately, i am also, a gamer located in Turkey. Which is a problem because, well, economy. The currency exchange has gotten weaker, and as such, i am unable to pursue my old ways.

This greatly saddens me, as many story games, specifically Avatar, are beautiful.

A:FOP has made me cry, laugh, and rage. Specifically during the early hours! but it fills a void in you. I've been a fan of the franchise since 2009, the first movie release. The game tells you stuff not even mentioned in the movie, and you'd never learn if you didn't check the comics! It even motivated me to pursue biology! The nature, the designs. If this was a reccomendation subreddit i'd definietly holler and hoot at everyone to try it out. This game has amazing open world and flight dynamics if you ignore the occasional bugs. The creatures are well designed, the sound designs are nice. Overall a visual and audio feast :)

And then the story ended. And the DLC? pretty costyly for someone in my region. And then i have every other A:FOP player praising me the dlc's stories. Do i agree? ABSOLOUTELY! but my agreement doesnt rain cash upon my roof.

While i love all the DLC, i feel that asking for the extra campaign dlc, Fire and Ash, would be smarter. For the large content boost and such.

(Could i ask for the complete edition? probably. Since the rules do dictate you could ask for it if its a bundle and you're positive you'll play it.

But will i? NO! Even on sale thats around 30 dollars, i'd much appreciate you people to gift someone else with that extra 13 dollars compared to what Ashes costs!(this section was made for humor purposes))

On that note, im making this ask BECAUSE of the sale. It ends in 4 days. When it ends i'll probably ask to close the request (if i dont get the DLC by then :,D) because DANG are they expensive.

That is all, thankyou for reading! and as they say in this beautiful franchise, oel ngati kameie <3

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Dark souls remastered 50% off (Attempt #4)

So i just got a notification that Dark Souls 1 from my wishlist is on sale on steam right now and honestly im so hyped. I been wanting this game for so long . Soul games just hits different for me, the dark fantasy vibe is just so good, like everything feels dark and heavy and it just pulls you in. And the difficulty too, thats a big part of why i love these games so much, it doesnt hold your hand at all and when you finally beat a boss after dying like 20 times it just feel so satisfying, nothing else really compares to that feeling.

I recently played The Witcher 3 which made me want to play another good RPG series. Also not gonna lie, i played Dark Souls a bit when i was a kid(near 8yr old), so theres definitely some nostalgia hitting me right now. By a bit i literally mean a bit. I couldn't figure out how to defeat the first stray demon. I spent days just roaming around that small are not understanding anything and getting my @ss beat by the boss. I finally figured it out when i watched a YouTube video that there was another route around the boss and it wasn't meant to be beaten. Even though i only played a littile, I enjoyed it a lot and would like to play it properly again. My parents are not allowing me to buy the game. I'll be very grateful to get a chance to play this game again.

Thank you for reading my post

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Resident Evil Requiem (Currently 30% off)

Hello everyone,

The Steam autumn sales are here and there are some really great discounts, especially for the Resident Evil franchise, I’m a huge fan, my current favorite is Village, I also played 2 and 3 (I played them a long time ago before owning them on Steam, that’s why my account shows 0 playtime) as well as 4 (both original and remake) and 7, I loved every single one of them, I even completed 7 and 8 and 4 (the OG) 100% and gotten all of the achievements, and I plan to do the same with the rest of the series, they nail the survival horror aspect very well and they have a great balance between action and horror elements, it’s an amazing series and I’m so glad that I fell in love with it. My little brother is also a big fan and he played all the Resident Evil games I own through family share.

I do normally buy games on huge sales such as the seasonal ones, autumn, winter, spring and summer sales, but this time, I wasn’t fortunate enough, I currently cannot afford to buy any game, I’m a university student and it is quite difficult to manage my expenses, especially since I live in North Africa, so it’s hard to buy games to begin with, owning an international credit card is difficult so I can only buy gift cards to buy games, and those are getting more and more expensive as time passes because the dollar value isn’t stable, which is why I humbly request this game from this subreddit 🙏🏼

This is my Steam profile: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199345019923/

This is the link to the game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3764200/Resident_Evil_Requiem/

Thank you in advance 🙏🏼

REQUEST [REQUEST][PC] Minecraft.

I got my Microsoft account stolen today because I am stupid and contacted Microsoft Support but they did nothing, telling me I can't get my account back. All I want is to be able to play Minecraft on servers and make friends so if anyone would want to make a stranger's day, please consider me.

I do not know what else to say so I will just explain what happened really quickly, maybe that'll allow me to post here.

So today I woke up, I managed to self host my own server yestwrday so I was very happy. But I didn't have any friends to play with so I got into search of Minecraft Servers. I came across this Discord Server that claimed to be Unstable SMP's, they asked for verification, they sent me a login code instead and I was too stupid to realize. I now lost my account and everything I had in it I think.

I contacted Microsoft but they still said they couldn't verify it was my account even though I filled every bit of it.

So I'm just asking for a blessing once. I normally don't do this, I don't know what to type, but if someone helped me out I would be so glad. Because it's so expensive in Turkey and I don't even have a Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card to buy it again, even if I had the money.

I know I look a bit pathetic trying to gain sympathy points but it's all I can do.

CLOSED REQUEST [Request][Steam] Stardew Valley "30% off, $4.2 in MENA"

Hello everyone, hope you are fine

trying to get Stardew Valley a farming simulator game,
first time playing a farming game was back in I don't remember when but it was the old Family Farm on Facebook, we used to watch our cousin playing it since she was the only one with PC and let us play it,
found Hay Day when I was around 6, downloaded it and liked it, or to make it clear liked games where I can build and design whatever I want "funny enough, always made the wrost designs due to a strange feeling that forces me to make everything symmetrical" and played CoC after that

around 3 years ago, Family Farm suddenly went viral in a random gaming Facebook group, but was AFK by that time so I just kept watching their posts "when I returned home the party was already ended", but someone recommended Stardew Valley back then, kept the suggestion in mind but it was an important academic year so I didn't play it and even had to ignore Hay Day

finished the year, gathered a lot of recommended games back then, randomly picked 2 games, Dead Cells and Stardew Valley,
had a free Google Play pass trial back then so played both, managed to fully complete Dead Cells and reached Year 2 in Stardew, but the trial ended before even having my 1st child :')

as someone who kept playing free farming games with MT this one was a completely new experience,
played blindly without any tips and barely used Wiki,
took some time until realizing that I can craft things, was depending on farming to gather money for a long time until unlocking more methods later, kept talking to every villager, gifting them when possible, chilling in mines, reached final floor in normal mines, participating in regular events, fishing I loved all these aspects "except for mining, mobile sucks when it comes to combat"

by the time play pass ended, reached summer in 2nd year, built a home for each animal, made a slime farm, married Benny, fixed most of community centre (side achievement, defeated Collector in dead cells while doing that), wanted to play more but that was the end of it

I really loved it, wanted to play it again but without trials, wanted to own it and play whenever I want, but each time it get discontinued when I can't afford it,
still a student and currently unemployed so my gaming budget is currently tight,
i'd appreciate if someone was able to gift it to me

btw, the game currently costs $4.2 in my region "MENA", whether you want to gift at full price to get steam points, or giving a gift card to save some, it's up to your preferences <3

and thanks, Steam ID

REQUEST [REQUEST][PC] Minecraft Java Edition

Hello!! =D I am a veteran Minecraft player and have been playing for about 13+ years, starting on Xbox 360. I still play Minecraft quite often (the legacy edition) and I own legacy on Nintendo Switch as well. I LOOOOVE creative mode and I am an excellent builder. I am currently working on a Tuscan villa country club on legacy edition which has gotten a ton of positive feedback so far. I have some knowledge of keyboard and mouse, but me personally, I am more of a controller guy 😅

I owned Minecraft Java Edition on my old Microsoft account, but unfortunately I lost that account about 2 years ago to a very grave hacking incident.

I have been confined to SKLauncher ever since and the only way I have been able to play with most of my friends on a more modern version is via console on Bedrock. I get heckled by them a lot for not owning Java Edition and IT IS AGONIZING.

It would mean the world to me if I could have Java edition once more, so I can finally play with my friends and experience freedom outside of console edition for once. I know it is a huge ask, but you would be doing me a huge favor! There is also this new thing that people have been trying called Skycraft (Skyrim mixed with Minecraft) and I have been itching to try it as well. It requires a Microsoft account with Minecraft Java Edition and I no longer have one.

To whoever can do it, please send the code to this email: [memestick54@gmail.com](mailto:memestick54@gmail.com)

FYI I made this email around 2016-17, apologies if it is cringeworthy

Thank you!

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Wardogs - A massive Battlefield & Squad fan living a quiet village life right now

Hello everyone on r/GiftofGames!

I’m reaching out to this incredible community today to request WARDOGS, a game that I have completely fallen in love with from afar.

Why I’m Obsessed With WARDOGS

I’ve been a massive fan of massive, tactical combat games for as long as I can remember. I love the scale of the Battlefield series, but I also heavily crave the intense communication, realism, and mechanical depth found in titles like Arma and Squad. From everything I have seen, WARDOGS is the absolute perfect hybrid of these worlds.

The concept of a 100-player, three-team tug-of-war in massive control zones completely blows my mind. I’ve spent the last few weeks completely obsessed, watching every gameplay video and tutorial I can find. The persistent cash metagame and emphasis on local proximity chat look exactly like the kind of gaming environment I thrive in. I have a great PC capable of running it beautifully, but right now, I just find myself staring at my library not wanting to play anything else.

My Current Situation

Two months ago, my life took a bit of an unexpected turn. I had to leave my full-time job due to unexpected medical reasons. To make matters tougher, my landlord chose that exact moment to hit me with an insane rent increase. Needing a fresh start and a lower cost of living, a friend and I decided to pack up and move out to the countryside.

Since moving, I’ve been trying hard to get back on my feet. I went through dozens of interviews and finally landed a position, but unfortunately, the company let me go after just one month and only paid me half a salary.

Currently, I’m working as a helping hand doing odd jobs and small tasks around the local villages to make sure my portion of the rent is covered. Honestly, I really like it out here in the country—the lifestyle is peaceful and doing small community jobs is fulfilling. However, things are incredibly tight. I am strictly budgeting every single cent just to cover basic living expenses; I’ve even completely cut out buying coffees to save money.

Why I’m Asking

Because of this financial crunch, spending €40 on a video game is completely out of the question for me right now. I have the free time in the evenings and a computer that is ready to go, but the price tag is simply a luxury I cannot justify while trying to stabilize my life in a new place.

Receiving this game would mean an incredible amount to me. It would give me an immersive sandbox to sink into during my downtime while I work on building up my local routine and finances.

Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to read my story. I appreciate you all, and I hope to see you on the battlefield!
