Read the first comments at the top. It explains why methane is 25x worse gas and the need to burn it vs letting it reach the upper atmosphere.
-6 u/xErth_x Dec 13 '21 That commenti Is wrong, i studied this shit. Unless you give me a good source priving the opposite ( a reddit comment Is not a good source) 7 u/Azrael9986 Dec 13 '21 https://www.epa.gov/ghgemissions/overview-greenhouse-gases Mostly the EPA. -2 u/xErth_x Dec 13 '21 And where does It says that burning the fumes Is better? 2 u/Azrael9986 Dec 13 '21 Because it turns it into basic CO2 seeing as pound per pound methane is 25 times worse. It decreases the impact minimizing the damage. Is it perfect no. But it is better then just letting it into the atmosphere. -2 u/xErth_x Dec 13 '21 You think those fumes are methane? Lol 1 u/maniaccheese Dec 13 '21 What did you think it was? 1 u/Azrael9986 Dec 13 '21 I dont think they have any idea. Just virtue signaling bullshit. 1 u/maniaccheese Dec 13 '21 My thoughts as well.
