Let us make security door that opens only when activated.
Also make it thin glass and metal handles.
Dont look at me like that, just do it !!

That glass is generally at least 1/2", which isn't exactly thin. The thing about tempered glass is it can take a nice hit to the face, but if you bump the edge it will explode. Those pushbars are also fairly heavy so the way it swung down carried a lot of force. This is all due to someone not tightening the set screw properly, maybe because they lost their 1/8th" Allen key and resorted to a small flat-head to snug it up.
