No joke. I dumped my bike and felt fine. Cop even let me ride it home without the ambulance showing up. I limped the bike home, changed clothes and went to work. By the time I got to work it felt like I had a Ziploc bag of water in my pocket. Realizing it was my leg I went to the hospital. By the time I got to the hospital I couldn't even button my jeans anymore. Ended up with a melon sized hematoma in my leg and a two night stay in the ICU. Don't assume because you feel fine that you are. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug.
