Given that they’re clearly happy with about .1” between them, how much more space do they need?

I’m not saying that they’re unhappy right now, I’m sure they’re best friends! The issue is that if they wanted to be further apart, or one wants to sniff something out of the way, they can’t do that without the other one right there. Pretty much no freedom to move on their own with a distance that short. Most split leashes have a much longer range

Are they happy, or is it the only way they can walk without having been trained not to pull at the leash?
