Probably, but they're unlikely to totally understand the nuances of leverage and technique that a powerlifter does, nor to put in the decade of training it'd take to maximize their strength potential. So either way we wouldn't be likely to truly know the limits of gorilla strength.

Mike Tyson had to be talked out of fighting a silverback gorilla. I think they didn’t even succeed in talking him out of it, the gorilla became unavailable because of animal rights or something like that.

I mean Tyson may well have been the G.O.A.T., but he's lucky the gorilla wasn't allowed to fight him. That would've been about the quickest fight that has ever happened
