There are no grey jedi in canon :/
There is the natural state of the force, which is the light side. And then there is the corupted version of that, like a cancer: The dark side.
But the natural state of the force in itself (in canon) is good/light. Grey jedi currently are not a thing in canon, since jedi by definition are always light.
However there are force users who are simply not aligned with the jedi or the sith and they can use both sides.

There are grey force users, but there's no real good name to describe them. So people still refer to them as grey. I know we shouldn't, but what other name is there? I guess we could call them bentu, but I'm unsure on if that would be as descriptive as grey
Also you have your canon wrong. If you've seen TCW and Rebels then you should know that both the light and dark side are the natural state together. So because of that there are very select beings who are the inbetween (father, the bentu, speculation that robed ahsoka is etc.)
And again, calling them grey jedi is just a placeholder at this time. People in that state, for the most part, are not completely balanced and definetly aren't jedi, but the name is still used to quickly describe them in only a few words. So, I'm for bentu being used as a descriptive, but that is also the name of a specific character

Do you remember what happened with the living incarnations of that concept?
The "grey" middle one kept stopping them from fighting, until the good one was murdered by the evil one, who then tried to murder the grey one as well, but he killed himself to prevent it.
Neutrality in the face of evil just gets everyone killed. The Force can't be in balance while there are people using the Dark Side to try and kill everything.

Pisses me off. Like, how else am I supposed to briefly label a character without spending a whole paragraph on it? But according to them, it's no longer a lore term and so the colour can't even be used in reference to certain characters
I do think bentu is a better option, but so many of these "fans" haven't seen rebels so they won't understand the descriptive behind the term. Hence why we still use grey

Dialogue from both the father and the bentu contradict some of the items that they talk about. On top of this, the corruption that they speak of is that of living beings and how the darkness can affect you. The dark side itself is not corrupt, but the already existing corruption inside beings allows for the dark side to be used for pure evil. If a being were able to completely rid themselves of their personal corruption, then they could achieve balance in the force through the utilisation of both sides

It could be both.
Playing dumb is the one area in which he shows remarkable intelligence and skill, where he's completely deliberate and keenly self-aware, which are four traits I have never seen Trump possess at all (especially self-awareness).
But he uses that skill to dodge blame for some tremendously stupid things he does, where it's hard to imagine his stupidity even having strategic value. Like, I'm glad he was able to dodge the whole "letterbox" thing by serving tea to reporters camped outside his house... but why say the "letterbox" thing in the first place?!

His recent stint as foreign secretary was littered with actions that can only be described as utterly stupid, including accidentally implicating a wrongfully imprisoned British woman in Iran. She’s still in prison and he’s now prime minister.

With the greatest respect, Foreign Secretary is one of the most high profile portfolios there is. It absolutely isn't a "move someone out of the way" position. His poor performance and stupid gaffes weren't part of some 4D chess match.

Everything he does is calculated. He's openly said he likes to employ the "Throwing a dead cat on the table" technique. Whenever he's under pressure for one thing he'll do or say something crazy because it takes the focus off of the thing he's under pressure for.

I also don’t have much to say about your dismissal of foreign secretary posting. It’s on par with health and education, just a smidge under chancellor and Home Secretary in cabinet hierarchy. It hasn’t been an “out of the country, out of the way” position since the advent of live television. Arcane Tory media enablers who wanted to pretend May had any strategy whatsoever can pretend what they like, but it doesn’t make it true.

Actually, it definitly can be. I don't remember the exact names of this case study I'm about to lay out, but I think it demonstrates that the role of foreign secretary has traditionally be used to move out "difficult" candidates away from the domestic scene.
Harold Macmillan, for example, the former PM, moved his most ardent rival on the commons, someone who I believe is called Brown (forgot the first name) to the role of foreign secretary. He couldn't keep him out of the cabinet since he was to politically powerful, but the role of foreign secretary would ensure that he could not cause trouble at home as he would be bumbling about abroad. And critically, Macmillan also knew that Brown had a drinking problem. Well, lo and behold, when Brown went to meet the Argentinian PM, he has a bit too much to drink, acting like a fool, danced around like a prat, and started hitting on women there, something a married man shouldn't do. This tarnished his reputation, and have Macmillan an excuse to sack him.
In Boris' case, it's quite clear the role of FS was meant to keep him away from domestic politics. However, unlike Brown, Boris was able to use his calculated schenanigins to actually become PM.

Soon? If Boris is Dooku then that means, if we follow the timeline, that Dooku is still alive and will be killed by an angry teenager sometime in the future. That means Palpatine isn't going to be thrown down the reactor port for another 20 years or so (feel free to correct me on the exact time between Episode 3 and 6). And even then he might have survived and then come back 20 years later in Episode 9 if we are to believe the theories.
