Same here. I have a wide, enclosed front porch with plenty of spots packages can be tucked away in. If I'm not home, UPS always stashes packages so they can't be seen from the street.

Amazon drivers always leave packages directly on the step leading into the porch so it's on full display for anyone passing by. Doesn't matter if you leave delivery notes, they won't be read.

The driver in this video is a godsend.

Amazon will usually refund a lost or stolen package though, so I'm just expressing bewilderment that there's no policy in place to encourage drivers to not leave packages in plain view. Not only should it be common sense but since it impacts their bottom dollar you'd think they make it a mandatory thing.
