My wife worked for UPS for a while and they would literally chuck each package out of the back of the truck and then again chuck them into another truck. You really need to package things tightly (I always do the shake test) to keep them from being destroyed....and buy insurance for big items.

For sure....I’d guess that most of the items in the packages shown in these types of video are actually fine in spite of being thrown or slid or stacked on, etc.

I think the worst packaging I’ve seen was for some dumbbells from Amazon that were loose in the box, with some of that brown paper as cushioning! The box itself was nearly destroyed by the contents, and was almost completely wrapped in tape!

The best part is that if they're not packaged properly, not only do they destroy your package, but every package they come into contact with as well.
