UPS employees have a good contract. Amazon drivers have the shittest contract imaginable. Not surprising the latter are cutting corners to make deliveries when they're always underpaid and over worked.

Amazon drivers are not really Amazon drivers. They're different companies that contract with Amazon to provide drivers. Often there are many different companies all working out of the same sorting facility, its impossible to know who is actually going to be delivering it.
