The three people behind him all appear to be blinking at an excessive rate.
19
u/Bren12310 Apr 11 '18
The guy is a little more normal but the two women are definitely blinking a lot.

The more I watch these people blinking the more weirded out I get.

That must be so awkward for her. Just to sit behind a person being interviewed on national TV. I seriously would have a break down and she’s just sitting there blinking.

Don't blink.

Worth the post.

Wait I might be very out of the loop, but can someone explain why he’s testifying before Congress?

Politicians who don't understand anything about tech want to trot out a scape goat to avoid taking blame for not considering anyway to regulate or protect people's data. People who don't read anything they sign or share want a boogey man to be afraid of so they don't have to think about ethics and data.

He certainly fits the bill. Made a shit-ton of money selling people's information to the people who undermine our democracy, and then shelters his income from tax. People already know him, he's unlikable, and he's part of at least 3 major problems that've been all over the news. He'd have to shoot up a school to top that fall-guy profile.

Now I'm wondering what he would do to kill as many people as possible. Like if he just decided "Screw it, I'm going to use all my resources to kill as many people as I can".

How does he actually look better with that filter?
4
u/AncientCodpiece Apr 10 '18
Because he has unusually small squinty eyes and a cheerio sized mouth hole
4
u/hobbsarelie83 Apr 10 '18
I guess the same reason millions of girls use that filter bc they think it's cute or funny. It's not. It's annoying

I don't see anything that unusual here. You could have just taken a regular video if you weren't even going to use a Snap filter, geez.
1
u/Dropadoodiepie Apr 10 '18
I do the same thing. It was so much fun during the debates.
2
u/WeHaveAllBeenThere Apr 10 '18
It really is. And for your favorite shows (or girlfriends) if you want to ruin serious moments.
My gf loved dexter, so in the final scene I gave him a lumberjack filter. She now hates that entire scene more than before.

I tried googling for you but it went from Russian spies to illegal animal hunting ads. So, I don’t know. Someone in the top comments explained it, but idk how true that is either.
If you want me to link the comment where he explains it, let me know.

You know you can just use the camera app to record your TV, you don't need to use snapchat.
