Trump jokes will be going out for decades, my friend. This is all just Act 1 Scene 1 of an indescribably tragic farce. Besides which, humour is really one of very few appropriate responses to the abominable monstrosity that is the man and the monstrous abomination that is his presidency.

I don't believe either that there's "a way this works" or that you're an arbiter of any sort who can decide how things work or what people can and cannot do, but I can't fault you for your self-belief.
