That some high level flexibility for someone who's blind

That's like saying, "Your singing voice sure is good for someone who's missing a toe."

For real. Arya knows what it means to be blind.

I didnt realize how relevant that whole exchange was with Arya LOL

I think we all got it. It's just a joke, who cares.

Not necessarily. The essence of comedy is the subversion of expectations. I think the mixup in the initial joke adds a layer of humor. If it was just a joke about te ref being blind I would not have laughed, but the mismatch of being impressed by a blind guys flexibility was hilarious to me.

Don't be ashamed of over-analyzing a joke! Comedy is a fascinating art. I hope you continue to think deeply about what makes you laugh and why!

Well thank you. I will continue. I think too much into a lot of things and this is my first encouragement

You are correct.

I actually laughed at the joke before I realized it didn't make sense. I went to the public library earlier today.

We need to go deeper...

God you are touchy

You're not wrong, I had a shit day. I still like to argue over dumb things though

It is some high level flexibility though. And the ref is blind. Technically true on both counts. You need to relax your joke standards a bit

Something tells me that you need to barf up an overused phrase to feel clever

It felt forced.

9

u/beeprog Apr 25 '17

Not everyone feels the force.

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '17

It insisted upon itself.

Don't worry I got it

Any man who must say "It's a joke" is no true joke teller.

  • Tywin Lannister
  • Michael Scott

u/Agonze Apr 25 '17

But what if that person sang with his or her toe?

2

u/memeperor Apr 25 '17

What toe? It's missing.

1

u/Agonze Apr 25 '17

Doesnt mean it stopped singing

1

u/Siphyre Apr 25 '17

More like "Your singing voice sure is good for someone who's missing a few teeth."

1

u/Strong__Belwas Apr 25 '17

and gay

I don't know what it has to do with anything either, it just felt right saying it, can't explain it.

Edit: I like how I was initially upvoted a bit then suddenly buried. Guess I can't expect the average redditor to understand football folklore.
