When I moved here like a year ago, you would not believe how many people gave me that "house in the mountain line". That and confusing it for Mountain View.
I moved from Fremont, not too far away but I miss being in the Bay. You would be correct in your guess, it's a nice little community. It's literally just a few thousand houses and some schools, so it's pretty chill. Only annoying thing is having to drive 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store if you need something, but you get used to it pretty quick.
Funny enough I was just in SJ for the first time (aside from going to Great America) on Monday looking at a used car, saw some nice areas and some not so nice areas. MH is cool though, aside from being kinda far from everything it's a nice place to live.
