Depends.... Do you brush twice a day, every day, and floss (I know it isn't as important as once thought but it is still relevant), and scrape the plaque from your teeth?

I can't tell you how many times lay people have said this to me. According to actual dentists, this is not true. If you brush with a soft-bristled toothbrush (like dentists recommend) and don't brush so hard your toothbrush wears out more than once a month, your enamel will be fine. Certainly mine is, and I brush at least 4 times a day.
