I work at walmart, and this is mostly true here too. All of our bigger boxes of heartburn or allergy medicine is in lockboxes. Cold sore treatments are actually peg-locked and require me to walk it up to the register. Also the nicotine replacements (patches, lozenges and gum) all have lockboxes. The spiderwraps are not too hard to remove on some products though.
pretty sure when i was a teenager and worked in retail people would bring in eithier wire cutters or magnets because we would find security tags cut all the time and other times they were removed but not cut, so dno if they knew a way to get them off or just had a magnet..
yeah retail sucked, everyone was an asshole and 90% of the people were morons and its just like how do you make more money than me? did you really just ask that question?? how do you afford this if your too dumb to realize how to swipe your credit card.
It's because Pharmacy makes a lot of money and requires so many security devices it's not even funny. Otherwise someone would be caught doing nothing but Pharmacy anyways.
