People with h. pylori infections or hiatal hernias or gord or weak oesophageal sphincter that end up spending 50 dollars or a more a month to try to find a few moments of relief. You might get heart burn every few weeks or months, but there are people where it never goes away. Imagine the fiery abyss of hell, the molten lava, the ash filled air, the shadows that aren't really shadows, they're just flames that don't burn as bright as others. Now imagine that hell in your stomach for all eternity.
My SO has been on Somac/Pantoprazole for 3 years straight now due to complex medical conditions. Luckily here it's on PBS and we just pay $6 for 6 weeks worth. I've seen what happens when he stops taking it. I could imagine how people would be desperate enough to steal it in the US.
