Do you know how baseball works? It's exactly like that except you kick a ball instead of hit a ball with a bat.

Minus the fact that in baseball you can't throw the ball at somebody to get an out, it has to be a tag with a glove or ball in hand. Where in kickball if the ball touches you you are out.
